The five dishes we recommend our guests try

If there is something Buenaventura has, it is a wide variety of gastronomic options for residents and visitors. Criolla, Mansa Taikai, La Contenta, and the Beach Clubs, are some of the many cuisines you can enjoy.

Due to this, we asked Víctor Concepción Peren, General Manager of the Hotel and the person in charge along with his team of the development of most of the concepts to give us a recommendation about those dishes that are a ‘MUST’ in Buenaventura.

“The cuisine is very good and we have options for all tastes. From something formal to something more relaxed. Palates are demanding and we have to offer them diversity and flavor,” he commented.

Although he took some time to think it through, he finally made his selection which we present below:

1.- The Lighthouse Burger, which in his words he defines as the ‘champion’

2.- Mansa’s pepperoni pizza. “It is simple yet its dough is incredible. If you want something more elaborate, go with the one with goat cheese, onion and mushrooms”.

3.- In Taikai, there is a salmon tartar that is another level

4.- In Criollo a fried fish with fried potatoes. A classic of the area.

5.- At El Faro at night, we have an amazing tagliatelle.

And finally, the last recommendation. “I did not mention the desserts because I can’t mention just one. They are all very good.”
