The summer season progresses and there are always different dishes and drinks that are becoming the most asked for by diners at the different restaurants and beach clubs in Buenaventura. So without further ado, we tell you what they are.
If there is something that distinguishes Buenaventura, it is the number of gastronomic options that exist for residents and guests. Sunsets and breezy nights are spectacular for dining out with friends while enjoying the gastronomic options that abound.
For Víctor Concepción Peré, general manager of the hotel, “the Moscow Mule and Aperol Spritz are the winning drinks. Ceviches are always refreshing, the Fried Fish with fried plantains and the tuna tartare”, he replied without hesitation.
Concepción and his team are behind the wide gastronomic offer of Buenaventura, where El Faro, Mansa, Puntarena Beach Club, Palapa, Tagua, Criollo and Tai Kai stand out, among others.
Adrián Sánchez, Restaurant & Bar Manager at Mansa, complements Víctor’s vision. “Among golfers, the Bloody Mary will always be a classic,” he noted before continuing. “For appetizers, minced trays like the Surf & Turf are working very well for us, especially around the pool.”
For Sánchez “the Aperol Spritz and the Moscow Mule are super close. In summer, the Mojito is always the classic that never fails, and this year the margaritas are also popular. The classic one, the one with flavors and a special Tamarind that is highly requested. Among beers, our guests are ordering a lot of light beers”.
BVA: And in Mansa?
AS: At the restaurant, the clams are selling well to share at lunches accompanied with white wine. And among the meats, we have some Baby Back Ribs that are also quite popular.
BVA: What wines?
AS: The Albarinos. The three most requested wine brands are of this variety. It really surprised me when I looked at the data, but it is a good option for these summer days.
