Concerned about the conservation of the wild flora and fauna of the region, the Buenaventura Zoo is a rehabilitation center and at the same time a space to learn and have a closer relationship with nature.
In it you can find various species of monkeys (native to the area), sainos (wild pigs), raccoons, pheasants, macaws and other species that provide the resident with a learning experience and awareness about the environment in which we live.
Today the conservation center has approximately 300 animals in two large areas: wildlife and farms. The exhibition is the best excuse to teach visitors and the community about the respect and care for animals in the area.
The species that we have are here for two great purposes: relocation and care. We work in collaboration with other institutions and people with whom we exchange information so that each one of the animals that we have receives the appropriate care
